很多新手媽媽以為一遇到乳汁不夠或乳管阻塞等等哺乳方面的問題時，就只能花一筆錢去找所謂的催奶通乳人士，他們真的幫的上忙嗎?
在此，我要提醒各位媽媽，凡稱為國際認證泌乳顧問者（International Board Certified Lactation Consultant；IBCLC），必須通過一系列專業訓練及通過考試，才能擁有全球唯一國際泌乳顧問考試委員會 (International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners；IBLCE) 所給予的認證資格及認證資格號碼。凡不屬實而自稱為國際認證泌乳顧問者，可以與該認證機構查證並提出舉報：
很多媽媽都不知道，政府提供給我們許多很貼心又專業的免費哺乳服務，當遇到哺乳問題時，可以善加利用喔！建議您存檔起來，成為您的資料庫轉發給朋友除了幫助自己，也可以幫助您的朋友和家人！
大溫地區免費專業母乳哺餵資源 許多的公共衛生中心(Public Health Centre)；或者社區衛生中心(Community Health Centre)， 皆附有Breastfeeding Service/Breastfeeding Clinics 建議使用這些政府提供的免費專業服務，或是與社區護士聯絡(自費的媽媽可以免費使用這些服務）。 以下所提供的只是部分資源：
